 Shoulders, Back, and Upper Arm Workout

If you have some time in your busy day, try this shoulders, back, and upper arm workout:

1. Hold onto your desk with both hands while seated in your office chair.

2. Use your arm strength to push yourself away from the desk while still holding onto it with your hands.

3. Stop when you are looking at the floor.

4. Pull yourself back to your desk to the position you started at.

5. Repeat for 10 to 20 repetitions.

 Touch the Sky

Touch the Sky is a simple workout that allows you to exercise both your arms and legs. If you’re in a cubicle or alone in the restroom, you might be able to sneak your exercise in there.

1. Begin by walking or marching in place.

2. Bend your elbows and keep them at your side while holding your open palms facing upward.

3. Pretend you are pushing something above your head toward the ceiling.

4. When you fully extend your arms, slowly lower your arms until they have returned to their position in step 2.

5. Repeat for 10 to 20 repetitions.

 Chair Leg Lifts

You may recognize Chair Leg Lifts as the same exercise you’d do at health clubs but with two legs instead of one and without weight. Nevertheless, it will help keep your legs fit and strong.

1. Sit in your chair.

2. Straighten your right leg until your entire leg is parallel with the floor.

3. Hold for two seconds.

4. Let your lower right leg return to its original position.

5. Do the same for the left leg.

6. Repeat for 10 to 20 repetitions per leg.
